Location
Villa Michalis is not far from the village center on the flank of a gently sloping hill.
From the balconies, views range northwards to the coast and the Aegean Sea, and south-eastwards to the Ida Mountains.
The surroundings are very peaceful and suit well for hikes to the neighbouring villages.

The nearest bus stops are 1.5 kms north at Stavromenos, and 1 km south at Loutra.
In Stavromenos there are also 3 supermarkets, a pharmacy, and a very popular restaurant. All of them are open all-year.
Iraklion airport is 79 kms away,  Hania airport 85 kms.
With respect to the National Road's winding character, transfer durations from and to the airports must not be underestimated.
